Museum and Church of the Lord Transfiguration
Majestuosa Gothic Church initiated in 1573. Its ogival arches, showral, a 25 m bell tower and a great rosette stand out.
Of unique nave and 14 side chapels, it reflects the power of noble families and local guilds.
The annex museum houses artistic pieces, such as the Eccehomo, gift of European sovereigns.
Inside the baroque altarpieces stand out.
San Salvador Temple
Iconic point of Artà, located in a hill with spectacular views of the town. The walled enclosure stands out,
the sanctuary and the old dependencies of Donat. It was a hospital during the plague of 1820.
The current church, in the Renaissance style, retains a Romanesque size of the Virgen de San Salvador,
Patron of Arta since 1922.
